I watched him live his miserable life for seven years. I miss him so much and at the same time I remember the time when I died, the time when I gave birth to our child… although I don’t know if I had a girl or boy. Adding to this, I remember our garden… we enjoyed everything in it. He would always let the children in so they could play, however if he did it now, he’d remember the time when we were together and when they enjoyed our time in the garden. His life was so heartbreaking, it’s my entire fault! His love and care faded away as time went by.
I saw the giant searching for something or someone. Was it Jesus, who he didn’t know and was a stranger to the giant? The one who he adored? Yes, he cried for years to see Jesus, soon the giant became very old and feeble. Then, as he looked out of his window Jesus stared at him. His smile gave life to the giant – my husband. Quickly, he ran downstairs as fast as a cheetah, as the giant approached the garden he stopped with shock. He kneeled down screaming, “What happened?” There were nails hammered through Jesus’ hands and feet, “Who did this to you? Tell me so that I can avenge for you!” Slowly and peacefully Jesus nodded.
For a few minutes there was complete and utter silence. “Who are you?” asked the giant.
“Today let me play in your beautiful garden then you can play in mine. Up there in paradise,” Jesus softly whispered after he pointed to the sky.
Time had come for him. Now I could ask if it was a girl or a boy… when suddenly he was covered with white blossoms as the giant rested calmly for his final breath.
His life changed so quickly although it took some time… I have talked to him happily in paradise and I found out I had a girl.
Today was a great day. In the morning, we went to church and celebrated the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. It was a long but very good mass. After that finished, my family went to a Chinese restaurant with great food, for example, the spring rolls, the spicy chicken and the noodles.
After that, we all went home feeling full. It was a very very relaxing day for me. I liked every bit of it especially because the whole point of going to the Chinese restaurant was for me to feel confident about getting good results in my S.A.T.S.

My holidays were incredible. I went to my cousin´s house and I stayed there for three days. We played a lot with the wii and also went to the park to play football. The last day I came back home very tired that I fell asleep easily. The next morning I was so hungry that I ate two toast and a glass of juice and then I read half a book and played with my xbox, now here I am writing this diary on the blog.
A few questions for Jackie Chan
1. How did you become an actor?
2. Who taught you martial arts?
3. How do you do it?
4. Do you have any sons or duaghters?
5. Have you ever been in an actual fight?
That was a few questions for Jackie Chan.
Yesterday, I went to the cinema to see ‘Snow White and the Hunstman’. This is the first ever film that made me cry and that sucked me in completely.
When you hear the words Snow White, you automatically think about the fairy tale about the beautiful girl with skin as white as snow. The film actually has so little to do with the actual story though- it is a completely new story. A remix of the original. And I must say, the remix is 100,000 times better than the original.
When I was watching it, I felt as though I was there in that scene living it. It had such moving parts in it like when Snow White made her speech or when the dwarf died to protect Snow White as well as horrific and frightening parts like when the King was brutally killed by Ravena or when the Huntsman killed Ravena’s brother.
I will not tell you the story or what happened in the movie. You should go see it yourself. I give it a 5 star rating. When you go, just make sure you have a pack of tissues with you and that you used the toilet before going to the cinema (I had to go to the toilet in the middle of the film!) and don’t gulp down all your coke in one go.
I would also like to quickly comment on the three main actors who did their job perfectly- Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron- as well as the director- Rupert Sanders. Go on You Tube and there you will find interviews with those three.
‘Lips read as blood,
Hair black as night,
Bring me your heart,
My dear, dear Snow White.’

Theme – Be The Best You Can Be
Think of some great ideas that we could do based on this idea. For example, we could write a letter to our future selves wondering how life went and if we achieved all we want to.
If you have any ideas then blog them as a reply to this comment. Let’s hear them then Year 6.
In The Future the children are now adults,
In The Future their children are now playing in my Garden,
Parents acquaint their children what happened when they were young,
In the Garden,
The Giant, Me
I am still thinking about that boy that I played with years ago,
Parents wishing too be young again,
I am now in heaven looking down on the new children in my Garden,
I am very happy in Heaven,
Then the children in the Garden,
Will have children and more and more,
So, My Garden will never end but will always continue,
And I will never stop looking down on them,
Forever I will stay with them.
There will be a few paragraphs and each of those paragraphs will be in different points of view of the objects/ people in the story.
I howled onto the giants roof. My friend the hail threw her ice on the roof so it crashed. The snow covered everything… but the children came. the warmth of their hearts frightened us. We fled.
The children came! The children finally came! We opened out our petals and stretched them, and welcomed the sun into us. We were so happy, that some of us turned glittery, and gold… and rainbow coloured. We gave beautiful scents for them. It was glorious.
I played with my friends and we looked and smelt the beautiful rainbow coloured flowers and we were overjoyed! Some of us ate the peaches, pears and apples, the strawberries, the raspberries! We were too busy to see that poor lonely boy who was in his own winter.
I felt so sorry for the boy. I cried for him with the sigh of my branches. My heart was breaking for him. I lowered my branches for him but he was too small… someone must help!
I came and the children ran away…but not the small boy. He was blind with tears, his lonely cry echoing in my ears. I set him on the highest branch and the tree blossomed into happiness. My life returned. My heart was warm again.
My life was long but the small boy didn’t return. Years and years passed and I was coming towards my death and the boy returned. His hands and feet were wounded. He said to me ” Come into my heaven. Be in peace.” I died. I entered the peace of heaven.
Earth is the only planet in the Solar System to have water in its three states of matter: as a solid (ice), a liquid (sea, rain, etc.) and as a gas (clouds). Earth is almost five billion years old, although life (resembling life as we know it) has only existed on the planet for the last 150 million to 200 million years. This means that life has only been present on Earth for only 5%-10% of its lifetime. These are all shown below. Water is, of course, the most important liquid for life. Earth and Mercury are the two most dense planets in the Solar System. This means that particles inside the planet are most closely packed together. The length of time it takes for Earth to orbit the Sun is 365 and a quarter days. To make up this extra quarter which isn’t counted at the end of a year, we have an extra day every four years on 29th February. The next Leap Year will be in 2012.
